About this event

Join GA DC for 54 hours to help our friends at The Trust for the National Mall. The Trust is an official partner of the National Park Service – is leading the charge to restore and improve the National Mall and honor its ideals for future generations through the new Landmark Campaign.

Landmark Music Festival kicks off this monumental national campaign to bring awareness and funds to America’s Front Yard – all in a single Festival weekend unlike any other. Currently the mall receives over 29 Million visitors a year with $250M dollars in backlogged repairs to deteriorating monuments and landscapes, plus needed upgrades for a more sustainable, functional park. These problems have been accumulation over the past 40 years since the park has seen a major renovation.

The Trust is connecting hackathon attendees to experts and engaged citizens to help ideate, validate and judge finishing the evening with great music in the name of preservation. This hackathon is open to Developers,Designers, Digital Marketing and Data Professionals
