The word has several different meanings, but to us it means one thing and one thing only, walnut. Claro Walnut is a type of wood that grows native to our lovely state of California and in the woodworking and design world it is a true rarity. Fortunately, this beautiful wood is made accessible by our friends at Made Lumber Supply, who specialize in this species and did the entire build out of our coffee shop. Claro as a wood speaks for itself. It is abstract in form, rich in color and grain, holds beauty in ways that other woods don't, and most importantly, it is native to California.
At Claro Coffee we like to think of ourselves in the same way. We create coffee that is rich and smooth, clean and flavorful, and creative with every cup. When coming up with a name for our coffee shop, we thought why not go with what we love most in this woody world? The name Claro Coffee suited us perfectly.
Ladies Get Paid gives women the tools + support they need to rise up at work. We provide education to help women get paid and get promoted. Our community is 50K strong with women from all 50 states and more than 100+ countries.
Legend says that when the daughter of Aztec Emperor Moctezuma I became ill, she was carried hundreds of miles from Tenochtitlan to a spring in a faraway northern land. Its waters flowed at high temperatures, and whomever bathed in them would regain vigor, joy and happiness. After spending some time there, taking baths and drinking water from the spring, the Princess returned to the kingdom optimistic, strong, happy and refreshed. Anyone who has tasted a cold Topo Chico on a warm day can believe the story of such spectacular refreshment.
