About the Instructor

Ira Herman is an experienced software developer who has 14+ years of coding experience. He started working with Microsoft while he was still in High School and has since then led a number of development projects. Ira has experience teaching as a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Cisco Certified Academy Instructor, and holds several internal Microsoft Endorsements in technical training and understanding of adult learning model and rapid learning. He has trained employees, military, college classes, and technical certification candidates, at times from zero experience. He writes in HTML/CSS, Wordpress, PHP, jQuery, Magento, and Ruby on Rails. Ira currently holds the positions of CTO at Optrix and WDI Instructor at General Assembly.
