This month, we're bringing a few coding leaders together to talk about how they got to where they are, all the lessons they've learned along their journey, and their advice for anyone looking to start coding.
We will also have a time reserved for Q&A, so come along and ask questions to find out if coding is for you!
Natasja is a Software Engineer at A Million Ads, working with technologies such as TypeScript, Vue.js, Terraform and AWS. She's a huge advocate of diversity in technology and loves to help General Assembly in providing a pathway for career changers into engineering.
An alumni of GA herself, she spent a year learning how to code in 2017, before moving from a career in technical recruitment to software engineering.
Vez is a London-based UI Designer/Developer. Transitioning to tech from an originally creative background, she completed the 12-week software engineering intensive course in October 2021. As a newfound developer with an artistic flare, she landed a position with Sana Life Science, a company who were seeking just that - someone who could merge the design and front-end development needs of a small team and run with it.
