About This Workshop

Sketch is an outstanding UX/UI and Visual Design tool that is fast, easy to use and a great alternative to adobe applications. This design program is cutting edge and empowers users in Visual Design, UX, Vector Graphics and more. This bootcamp will help designers with little or no experience be effective and resourceful users of Sketch.

Together we will learn the basics of the Sketch 4 program, how to work with the key tools and work flows for UX and visual designers, and how to create outstanding visual design such as websites, wireframes, mockups even branding and logos.

You will be able to hit the ground running with creating and efficiently working with art-boards, text and typography design, object styles, symbols, and vector drawing for icons, symbols and logos. Lastly, we will use Sketch’s powerful and smart export features to create SVGs, PNGs, JPEGs, and even PDFs.

Preparation

Required: Mac laptop with Sketch installed (version 4 or later)

After completing the User Experience Design Immersive course in 2015, Elize became a UX director at a digital marketing agency within 1 year and a co-founder of a UX design agency within 2 years. Now, she creates content that helps emerging designers learn how to expedite their careers. Her past clients include Adobe, USA Today Network, Papyrus, and Robert Half.

Her goal is to make UX accessible to everyone, because it’s the job of every person in an organization to care about the user’s experience. Elize loves helping others gain confidence and take action in their lives.
