Someone needs to organise or "wrangle" this data for businesses to make data-driven decisions to improve the customer experience. R, an open-source, dedicated statistical language will help you wrangle data into meaningful formats for analysis and insight, irrespective of your industry and background. This workshop will demonstrate common data wrangling steps to transform data to tidy cleansed formats for analysis, visualisation and business intelligence.

Muhsin spent a rather long time in academia collecting a degree in biochemistry and genetics and a PhD in neuroscience. Being unsuccessful in gaining a position as a mad scientist, he worked as a data analyst across a variety of industries including in government, not-for-profit and retail. He employed open-source tools to wrangle data into tidy meaningful formats to aid decision-making. Muhsin currently works at the Commonwealth Bank as a senior analyst and wears hats and colourful Converse shoes most of the time.
