About this event

Tech. Entrepreneur. Innovation. VC. Incubator. These terms have become analogous with the concept of a Startup; but what does it all really mean? What does it actually take to work at a startup or start your own company? What can you do as a parent to set your college student up for success on this career path?

This 1-hour workshop demystifies the fast-paced ecosystem of startups. We will give you the inside scoop on key events/meetups to attend, people, companies, venture capitalists, blogs, incubators, programs, hot issues, and more. You'll leave with an understanding of the ecosystem and resources available to help you and your student navigate the startup world.
