This class is designed to provide the fundamentals of what it takes to deliver effective public relations that deliver a measurable impact. Covering the basics of what PR is, how to build a strategic PR campaign, how to pick your tactics and what measure, you will learn about the essential components of communicating your company’s story in an age when newspapers are no longer enough.
There will be an opportunity for you to take these skills and try them out yourselves, as well as to get a glimpse of where the industry is heading next, with a brief summary of why purposeful communications can’t be beaten.
Students who will benefit the most from this class will already possess good to advanced oral and written communications skills and will follow the news and social media on a regular basis.
