About this workshop

Java is currently one of the most widely used programming languages in the world and Android, one of the most widely used platforms. This workshop is an introduction the Java language and its constructs along with the basic structures of an Android application. Students will learn the basics of the Java language such as types, classes, and methods. Using this students will program a simple Android application using the Java language and the Android SDK.

Prereqs & Preparation

Students will need to have the JDK, Android Studio, Xamarin Android Player, and the Android SDK.
