Intro to Excel | FREE Online Livestream | June 16

This class will introduce a range of topics, giving students a taste of the potential that can be achieved with Excel. It touches briefly on everything from navigation and layout to using functions and formulas. This workshop was not designed to go over any topic in extreme detail, but more as a "sampler" of topics. The expectation is for students to be able to leave and be familiar with several Excel skills.

• Understand why Excel is the preferred data management tool.
• Comfort and confidence navigating Excel workbooks.
• Learn about Formatting, Sorting & Filtering.
• Discover key formulas and functions like COUNT, SUM, IF, SUMIF, and more.

• This class is taken completely online using Zoom, and requires a computer and a strong internet connection.
• You should be familiar with basic computer functions, but no previous experience in Excel is required
• A second monitor is recommended if you want to follow-along in class.
• Access to Excel is preferred, however Google Sheets is an alternative. If you don’t have access, create a free Google account.

Wayne is a data analyst with Google’s Admob team, applying data science to drive developer acquisition at scale globally. Wayne is passionate about solving business problems using data and analytics techniques. He was previously with Unilever, where he was a pioneering member of the data science team there, developing analytics products for sales and finance teams across Southeast Asia. Wayne graduated from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Finance.

Out of office, you can find him in the gym, or tinkering with cryptocurrency-related side projects.
