About this class

In this workshop, students will learn the importance of why purpose is so important (and powerful) when building a culture and business. Using a simple framework that is easy to understand, Skott will take students through a series of self exploration exercises to better understand what resonates with them personally and how that should and can influence the businesses which they run.

Students will take away from this workshop the framework of the next steps in the development and activation of their own purpose driven business culture.

Culture is a hot topic these days. Everyone wants a good one but few know where to start when building their own within their business. What many fail to recognise is that culture comes from shared beliefs, purpose and alignment of where the business is going. We're all looking for meaning it seems, especially when it comes to our work.

"Millennials [already] make up 50% of the worlds workforce and want jobs that offer them an opportunity to create meaning, not just make money." Ryan Honeyman (The B Corp Handbook)

"Teams that have a cultural fit and are aligned on their goals are 6 times more profitable than their competition" Jim Collins (Good to Great)

Takeaways

In this Culture DNA introduction workshop students will walk away with the following first drafts: - Exploration of the Core Purpose of their business - Defining a unique set of values for their business - Aligning a clear, ambitious vision for their business that will give direction to their purpose - Introduction of the long term objective concept that drive both strategic culture development and business growth.
