If you have the basics of Excel down, and you want to start taking your knowledge to the next level, then this class is for you. In this class — ideal for people working in business, management, or simply interested in getting more organized — you’ll learn how to create Pivot Tables, improve your charts, and apply intermediate functions & formulas such as VLookup, If, and Sumif. This class will give you the tools to be a more desirable job candidate and a more productive worker.
Please Note: The material in this class was previously offered as EXCEL AT EXCEL: GETTING DOWN THE BASICS led by Frank Sumanski. If you have previously taken EXCEL AT EXCEL with Frank Sumanski, then this material was already covered; however if you have taken EXCEL AT EXCEL with a different instructor, then this will be new material.
Students should have a general familiarity with Excel, including knowing how to navigate a spreadsheet, and how to copy & paste. Please bring a laptop with Microsoft Office installed (Office 2007, 2010, or 2013 on a PC recommended, Excel 2011 on a Mac acceptable). The instructor will be using a PC, however all functions/features will work on a Mac. It is also highly recommended that you bring a mouse. Students will also be emailed case study files prior to class that they should download to their desktop. This is an interactive class, and your participation and questions are encouraged.
