About this workshop

Improv is increasingly valued as an art form that can be taken in to the boardroom as easily as in to a theater. Companies like Deloitte, Intel, and Ask.com, as well as graduate business programs at Stanford, Columbia, and the University of Virginia, are using improvisation to harden so-called “soft skills” all professionals must have to be successful.

In this highly interactive and experiential workshop, you'll be taken through improv games and exercises that will allow you to sharpen professional skills necessary for business and workplace success. Concepts such as "Yes, and," problem-solving, communications, ideation, and collaboration will be addressed, as well as how to apply them to your work. You'll leave with new, innovative approaches and skills to be a part of more innovative, creative, and collaborative workplaces.

Takeaways

  • New, innovative approaches and skills you can apply to your work
  • New mindsets to use when you collaborate with others
  • Exercises and activities you can steal and use with your teams
