From the success of their 4th annual Imagine Talks conference, Imagine Talks is coming to General Assembly to bring you the Imagine Talks Forum, where we bring you the opportunity to learn, to get inspired, and to be touched by various speakers within our community within a shorter panel event. Founded by the Asian American Foundation and Edge Interns, Imagine Talks focuses on the celebration of women empowerment, social impact, and entrepreneurship. We aim to promote mentorships, empower aspirations, and foster growth by sharing ideas in the realms of innovation, business, education, government and stories of humanity.
This first event will center on the concept of “#GirlBoss” and we will feature women who are paving the way within their own industries and showing the world what can happen when you pursue your dreams. The purpose is to furthermore inspire the progress of gender equality within the business, civic, medical and social arenas in today’s society. They will share their own struggles and successes in navigating the professional world, as well as thriving in their own personal journeys as an Asian American woman in the 21st century. These women know the importance of uplifting other women and supporting them in various endeavors because in the end, we all benefit from the progress.
