About this workshop series

Mobile App Development Course - “iOS Swift Edition” will give you everything you need to know to prototype and build your future iOS application. During the course, we’ll explore all the fundamental aspects of what it takes to envision, design, and build a successful mobile application from the ground up using Apple’s new language “Swift” (targeting iOS 8 and using Xcode 6).

The course is designed for a non-technical audience and assumes minimal prior programming experience (although any experience is welcome). During the course we’ll explore a wide array of sample applications, backend frameworks, and tools & techniques. Additional topics will include Upcoming Mobile Trends, App Stores & Ecosystems, Mobile Design Principals, Prototyping Tools, The Software Development Lifecycle, Core Development Principals, Localization, and App Store Deployment Process.

The takeaway from the course will be a deep understand of iOS-centric mobile application development along with a baseline set of skills that will set you firmly on the path towards building your first mobile application.

Schedule: Oct 25 and 26 (9:30am- 5:30pm both Saturday and Sunday) Oct 27-31 (7pm-9pm from Monday to Friday)
