About this event

'Sorry....I was distracted'

Technology, social media and the Internet are useful tools, filling us up with information and helping us in our work and daily lives.

But even as they've had a significant impact in expanding our world and connecting us, technology too threatens to push us further apart.

In an age where we are always on, available to friends, clients or co-workers at any time and the lure of a YouTube spiral is never far away it can be challenging to actively engage with people right here and now in real life (or is that IRL?!).

Join us to hear from a panel of tech, relationship and mindfulness experts who will explore how we can balance our personal relationships with our use of technology to build healthier patterns and interactions.

Takeaways

Join us and be reminded of…

  • Why the real-world is so much more important than any blog or Instagram post
  • What you're missing when you’re looking down at your phone - a change in scenery or catching a smile from a stranger as you walk by.
  • How you feel when you connect with someone face-to-face
  • How being without technology can improve your mental health & wellbeing.
