Lucy Werner is a PR expert and founder of The Wern, a specialist communications consultancy and training hub for startups, entrepreneurs and independent brands. She has worked with top emerging business talent such as Jimmy’s Iced Coffee, The Marshmallowist and Vinyl Me, Please.
She also consults for innovation, marketing and public relations consultancies, building their go-to market strategies, raising CEO profiles and developing their thought leadership. Lucy uses her own profile to demonstrate how other small businesses can do their own publicity and has written a ten-day e-learning course for Highbrow called How to get press for your business. She was recently shortlisted as a finalist for Growth Business Enabler from Startups.co.uk. Her first book “Hype yourself: A no-nonsense DIY PR toolkit for small businesses” is launching in January 2020.
Georgina Fuller Freelance journalist, speaker and media consultant
Georgina Fuller is a freelance journalist who writes about parenting, HR, career, leadership, equality and travel but hates writing bio’s. She has written for everyone from The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian and The Daily Mail to Red, Good Housekeeping and Marie Claire magazine. She also contributes regularly to BBC Radio 2 and is a guest lecturer in journalism at Oxford Brookes.
As Editor and Strategy Director, Nadine is responsible for driving the brand, content, design, and innovation strategies that Just Entrepreneurs create for our readers. Central to this is framing the problems that our readers and members face in a clear and inspirational way for the editorial team and the design team to understand and take action, to ensure that the best content and creative solutions are delivered. Previously, Nadine worked for Smarta Enterprises, where she honed her expertise in editing and brand strategy and worked with a wide range of companies, including O2, Santander and Startup Loans.
Sarah is the News Editor at Courier media, a London-based, international magazine covering small business and startups. She also heads up the company’s weekly email newsletter, Courier Weekly, and writes long form reports on consumer trends and startup culture. Prior to joining Courier, she has written for The Times, The Independent and TimeOut.
