Taryn is a front-end developer working at Finder, one of Australia’s largest financial comparison websites. Prior to joining the tech industry in 2018 she was a full time confectioner, making all sorts of sweet treats like caramels, marshmallows, honeycomb, and more! As a junior developer, Taryn loves all things CSS but is always keen to get stuck into some React and even a bit of PHP. She’s passionate about improving user experience and loves learning about inclusive design. In her spare time, Taryn still enjoys baking up a storm in the kitchen, as well as being a bit of a crazy dog lady.

Shayaan has been known to dabble in part-time courses herself including makeup artistry, Chinese Mandarin, and digital marketing.
