About This Event

Fast-growing startups can seem like a very attractive place to work. But breaking into one can sometimes feel like learning a new language. At this free event, you'll get some insider tips as well as hear first-hand experience on how to launch a career with a high-growth company.

You'll leave with a handful of suggested events and resources perfect for taking that next step in your own journey. The event is particularly useful for people with non-technical backgrounds who want to work somewhere that has moved past proof of concept.

About the Instructors

Lindsay Kueber Photo

Talent Acquisition Manager,
OrthoFi

Lindsay joined OrthoFi in March 2014 as our first Customer Support Agent. As the team grew, she moved into a management role overseeing the Support department while simultaneously beginning to build OrthoFi's HR department. In January 2016, Lindsay transitioned into Human Resources/Recruiting full time and has been instrumental in bringing in new talent. In her free time, Lindsay loves to spend time with her friends and family, play with her dog, and experiment in the kitchen.

Taylor Noel Jordan Photo

Software Engineer | Yoga Teacher

Taylor spent the first decade of her career in the wellness industry as a bodyworker, energy worker, and yoga teacher, earning her an expert status in the field. She worked as a medical massage therapist focusing on injury recovery and chronic issues but also treated each person holistically. Though she’s retired from massage, Taylor still teaches yoga occasionally, most recently in the form of videos designed to provide movement and stretching for people who spend a lot of time at a desk. After closing the bodywork chapter, Taylor shifted gears and entered the world of tech as a software engineer. As fate would have it, she now works for SonderMind, a company whose mission is to redesign behavioral healthcare to become more accessible, approachable, and utilized, bringing her worlds of wellness and tech together in a perfect circle.

Beatrice Leung Photo

Director of Operations,
soona

Beatrice Leung is the Director of Operations at soona, the world's first virtual content creation studio for e-commerce. After joining Techstars NY in 2015 she's gone on to work in Virtual Reality and Cryptocurrencies (both companies have been acquired). With a passion for start-ups, she's skilled in creating systems that keep the train running.
