About This Workshop

Being a confident communicator is not just the way you act, talk, and look. It’s a habitual way of thinking and reacting to various life situations.

In this class, you'll learn how to become an engaging and influential leader and learn the communication tools you need to effectively share your ideas. You'll learn how to break down the barriers, misconceptions, and fears that prevent people from being fully heard.

You'll develop the ability to make small changes to your words, tone, and non-verbal communication to improve how you interact in a multitude of personal and professional relationships and scenarios.

The well-being of our employees, students, clients, instructors, and guests is our number one priority here at General Assembly. We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation very carefully and are adjusting delivery of our programs.

Due to the current health concerns, all GA short-form events, workshops & bootcamps will temporarily be held online - including this one.

Registered students will be notified 24 hours in advance of this program with information on how to log in to the Zoom Meeting Room and other tools you’ll need for the session. Registration for this class will close 2 hours prior to the session start in order to allow all students ample opportunity to have the technology enabled.

Public Speaking Coach,
Speak To Inspire

Julia is the founder of the public speaking training company, Speak To Inspire. Founded in 2014, Speak To Inspire has trained 100's of entrepreneurs and professionals as well as 100's of companies around the Bay Area like Linked In, Salesforce, ZScaler, Twitter, etc. She is passionate about training smart professional women who are experts at what they do but tend to freeze up, shrink down and get self-conscious when the spotlight turns to them. She helps then to feel comfortable in their skin, come across as the authority they are and turn high-quality information into inspiring performances.
She is now a WholeSpeak certified public-speaking coach, a Magnetic Speaking Trainer and a certified Big Impact Speaker through Mark Grainger and Shannon Law. She has helped 100's of entrepreneurs to find their most confident stage presence as well as helping companies like Samsung, Twitter, and SalesForce to be more powerful communicators. She believes that the world needs your voice and that if you’ve found her, it’s not only time to speak, but time to speak to inspire.
