About this workshop

We’ve all been in situations—personal and professional—where we were caught off guard or knocked off our feet (catching our own mistake, negative feedback from a manager, projects going awry, ventures failing, relationships ending, not receiving a call back on job applications etc.)

When we are hit by failure, it is easy to lose our confidence and our stride. When we can't respond creatively and smartly, we potentially lose out on opportunities that matter. Geared towards emerging leaders, entrepreneurs, students, and career-changers (and anyone who faces challenges in their life), this workshop will help you learn how to get back on your feet quickly, spending less time on feeling down and unproductive and more in action.

Irene combines the latest in neuroscience, behavioral psychology, and coaching techniques in her B.O.U.N.C.E. framework for resilience and flow.

In this educational and experiential workshop, you will learn scientific research behind resilience and practical tools you can use right away to:

  • Calm your nervous system in stressful situations
  • Regain control of your creative mind when caught off guard
  • Stay open to possibilities
  • Take action with confidence
  • Grow from failed experiences and get better faster

Takeaways

  • Understand the scientific underpinnings of resilience, from how our nervous system responds to stress to the way our brain accesses the creative state of flow
  • Learn the step-by-step B.O.U.N.C.E. process to remain calm in adversity, regain control of your creative mind, and step into action with confidence
  • Practice your resilience muscle and walk through the process experientially with guided group exercises
