About this workshop series

Google analytics is a tool that is fundamental to understanding your business’ digital reality. In this class you will learn how to effectively use Google Analytics to capture, analyze and drive meaningful insights from your data to drive your website needs forward.

In this two day bootcamp you will not only learn and practice how to report from Google Analytics, but you will also learn how to setup your GA properties for success, advanced event tag management to make sure you are capturing metrics important for your business, and how to create advanced visual dashboards in Google Data Studio for sharing meaningful insights with your internal and external clients.

Prereqs & Preparation

  • Please bring a laptop computer to class (a Windows PC or MacBook)
  • Have admin access to a Google Analytics account (select the gear icon that says admin in your google analytics account, then select “user management”, if you can add additional users, you have admin access, if your only option is to “remove yourself from the account, reach out to the admin and have them add you as an admin”)
  • Optional: Having access to google webmaster tools and Google AdWords if you have it
  • Optional: Setup your Google Data Studio and Google Tag Management account
