About this event

What exactly is a mentor? Who should be one? Should I bother? How does the relationship work? What's in it for them?

Having a mentor can significantly elevate your professional life, and can save you from mistakes and embarrassment. Yet, few people take advantage of mentor-mentee opportunities, despite all of the potential upsides.

A great mentor is wise and willing to share his or her knowledge and experiences in order to help you succeed, and it's never to late in your career to seek one out. Come hear from both sides of the coin - mentors and mentees - on how mentorship has enhanced their entrepreneurial journey.

There will also be plenty time for drinks and networking - perhaps you will even find your dream mentor / mentee!

Takeaways

  • Learn how to find a mentor

  • Learn to serve as a valuable mentor

  • Understand the shortcuts entrepreneurs seek from mentors

  • Hear from those who have been there before about mentorship best (and worst!) practices
