GA Alumni: End of Summer Happy Hour | Online

About this event

Join us for a Thirsty Thursday alumni happy hour at Kitty Cohen's on Thursday, September 18th from 6pm until 8pm! Your first drink is on us. Put it on your calendar, and we'll see you there!

Rough outline of the event is as follows:

(10 minutes) Introduction from GA Staff We'll kick things off with a short introduction and thank everyone for coming.

(10-30 minutes) Guest speaker Each week, we will allow a guest speaker to come in. This could be you if you're interested and want to talk about something with everyone!

(10 minutes) Topic pitches / calls for help We encourage you to pitch ideas to others to work on a project or to ask for advice/assistance on their own projects. Maybe you just want someone to look over your portfolio? Maybe you have a project and need someone who can do ______?

(60-90 minutes) Work Period Hang out, have a snack, work with your peers or by yourself.

(30 minutes) Presentations / Wrap-up Anyone who pitched will have a chance to demonstrate what they've come up with. Same for those with a call for help.
