About the Panelists

Julien Deslangles-Blanch Photo

Julien Deslangles-Blanch oversees General Assembly's operations in the UK & Europe. Prior to this role, he was leading the GA London Education team. A multilingual program manager with a background in corporate consulting and diplomacy, he also has experience in the nonprofit and academic sectors. Julien holds an MA from the John's Hopkins University's SAIS, and degrees from Nanjing University and Peking University, as well as a BBA in International Business from HEC Montreal. He speaks English, Chinese (Mandarin), Spanish and French.

Chip is the new kid to London. As a trained visual designer now in marketing she has wide experience in both the tech, design and marketing industry. Spending 3 years in design, she decided to make the switch to marketing and partnerships. Chip heads up the marketing team at General Assembly and has loads of insights in transitioning into a different career.

Chip is nominee in the Young Achiever Under 30 for 2018 in the Mumbrella Awards and looks forward to curating and orchestrating events in London.

Amongst her normal role she has hosted The Design Kids for a whopping 3 years has allowed her to meet some incredible creatives, students and work alongside Sydney's best agencies. She has now expanded that into all areas of corporate, finance, marketing and all aspects of tech and heads up TDK London!

Head of the Escape School,
Escape The City

Skye has helped thousands of people escape their jobs and start new careers and businesses through her work as the Head of the Escape School at Escape the City, where she’s designed 10 week Accelerator programmes to help people find career direction or start new businesses both in London and NYC

Prior to her work at Escape the City, Skye worked at national enterprise campaign Startup Britain and think tank Centre for Entrepreneurs, traveling across the country designing initiatives to help support entrepreneurial ambitions across the UK, as well as researching and formulating policies to make the UK the best place in the world to start a business.

Skye is also a Business Advisor on Facebook’s She Means Business campaign training female founders how to start and grow their businesses online, for Young Enterprise working with young people to help them realise their entrepreneurial ambitions, and with social enterprise The Platform helping long term unemployed to launch social ventures. Skye also sits on the advisory board of The Entrepreneurs Network, a think tank working on entrepreneurial policy and the secretariat for the APPG in Entrepreneurship.

Ayumi Moore Aoki is an entrepreneur, a mother of 4 children, and the founding president of Women in Tech©.

She currently leads both Social Brain, a human-scale, award-winning digital agency, and Women in Tech©, an international organization whose aim is to bridge the gender gap and Help Women Embrace Technology.

Women in Tech focuses on 4 primary areas that are a call for action: Education, Entrepreneurship, Social Inclusion and Events. The aim is to educate, equip and empower women and girls with the necessary skills to succeed in STEM career fields.

More than an organization, Women in Tech® is a Global Movement with members in over 60 countries.
