About the Instructor

Darren Siow is an avid user experience designer perpetually curious about what makes people tick, and enjoys getting into discussions about usability problems. He received his B.Eng at Curtin University of Technology and his M.Sc (HFE) at Nanyang Technological University. He has spent more than two decades with leading technology companies where he has gotten his hands equally deep into the design of machinery as well as user interfaces. Darren has conducted usability tests and ethnographies in the U.S., Europe and Asia. His interest in making things easy for people to use has earned him 2 United States patents and a variety of invention disclosures. When he isn't cycling or DIY-ing stuff, he spends his time with his wife planning their next big goal in life.
