Bobbie will share how to find your own personal balance aligned to your priorities. With over 30 years of experience in Information Technology, Customer Service and Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Bobbi will attest that “Life is not about the destination, it’s about the journey…”. She will passionately share how she uses a self-prescribed barometer to keep her pursuit of success in check.

Bobbi Dangerfield leads Global Business Operations (GBO) in the Dell Operations & Client Services organization, supporting a 40,000-member sales organization across more than 70 countries. Her role is about making Dell the easiest company on the planet to do business with for customers working with Dell and the team members doing work within Dell. Bobbi oversees Order Management for the company, as well as Global Channel Operations, and Business Intelligence, Reporting and Analytics for Sales Operations and Customer Care.
Bobbi also led the IT Integration office as part of the Dell and EMC Integration team, responsible for ensuring the IT backbone of the two organizations came together seamlessly as the companies’ combined to become the biggest end-to-end technology solutions provider.
Bobbi joined Dell in August 1999 and has held executive positons in IT, Consumer Customer Care Call Center Operations, Customer Experience and Centricity. She was the GM, Dell El Salvador and Managing Director, Dell Global Business Center in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
She has more than 30 years of experience in Information Technology, Customer Service and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Prior to joining Dell, Bobbi held positions at Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway and IBM. She received her BBA in Business Computer Information Systems from Dallas Baptist University and her MBA from Southern Methodist University.
Bobbi also serves as North America co-chair of the Dell’s Women’s employee resource group and also co-chairs Dell’s North America Giving Council. She serves on the board of directors for Dress for Success Austin, the Texas Conference for Women, and the Susan G. Komen Austin Affiliate Advisory Board. Bobbi lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband, Elmer and has 2 grown children, Paige and Tyler.
Austin Women in Technology (AWT) is a professional organization providing a venue for women in technology to network and assist others who share their interests and passions.
We continue to provide a support and intellectual system for women pushing their own boundaries, whether they be the first, fiftieth or five hundreth to achieve their goals.
AWT accomplishes this purpose by building a visible community of individuals supporting women in technology. We offer valuable programming that enables networking and helps members learn more about a variety of topics of interest to women in technology. Members can also take advantage of the opportunity to work side-by-side with other intelligent, community-minded women as part of our volunteer committees and board.
