About This Class

Are you looking for more than just a pay check, but a job that helps you live your purpose? Do you know what you're in the world to do and how to make it happen?

This workshop will help you find a role with purpose. It may not provide all the answers, but you will be equipped with tried-and-tested tools and inspiration to get you started. This hands-on class will be centred around self reflection, action and feedback.

In this workshop, you'll look at the intersection between what makes you special and what the world needs to get your purpose. We'll then look at how you can translate that purpose into an ideal job description to focus your search.

To make it even more actionable, we'll look at how to translate your purpose into a compelling pitch you can share with influencers and potential employers. We'll also help you map out your key activities to help you get to where you want to go -- in the next week, the next month and the next quarter.

You'll be taught by Melissa Andrada, ex Wolff Olins whose methodologies and thinking are based on work with some of the creative industry's leading practitioners like Google, Skype and FutureLearn. She'll share some of her own personal experiences of living her dream job -- from kickstarting a venture inside Wolff Olins to getting a work grant to do research on entrepreneurship in Nigeria to now starting her own learning business.
