If you know the basics of Microsoft Excel and want to take your knowledge to the next level, then this hands-on bootcamp is for you.

Whether you are in business, management, or simply interested in getting more organized, this Excel bootcamp will cover the tools and functions you need to automate or enhance the way you analyze and restructure your data. Dive into formula writing, combining formulas, creating basic to intermediate charts, and, of course, leveraging the ultra-powerful PivotTable in Microsoft Excel. This Excel bootcamp will help you ask — and answer — the right questions of your data sets.

If this class is recorded, students will be sent the recording link within 7 days after class completion by email. Students are encouraged to download and save any shared materials (worksheets, deck if applicable) during class for later reference as they are not be shared by email.

• Apply basic formula logic using absolute or relative references.
• Quickly pull necessary information out of large data sets.
• Execute advanced Excel functions, such as VLOOKUP and IF variants such as SUMIF and COUNTIF.
• Combine formulas to clean, edit, or analyze data sets with greater efficiency, compiling accurate spreadsheets.
• Build and modify PivotTables to quickly and effectively analyze large quantities of data.
• Create visualizations to clearly communicate insights.

Download Excel prior to class. Google Sheets is also a workable substitute.

• You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
• This class will occur completely online using Zoom.
• Class setup information will be emailed to all students signed up around 24 hours before (and again an hour before) your class launches.
• Each individual class participant must have purchased a ticket.

Nigel was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Awarded a Presidential Scholarship to study economics at Hampton University. He then returned to NYC to complete his Bachelors in Economics at New York University. He worked in credit derivative markets at Goldman Sachs and Old Lane before founding The Street Academy for Financial Literacy, a non-profit serving over 1000 NYC youth annually. Today, Nigel is the Co-Founder and COO at BALLSTAR, a social database for global basketball statistics.
