The Excel at Excel workshop is designed for students who are relatively familiar with other office productivity software, for example Microsoft Word. (The students who succeed the most are comfortable using a computer and navigating around desktop programs on their own). It introduces a range of Excel topics giving students a taste of the potential that can be achieved with Excel. It touches briefly on everything from navigation and layout to using functions and charts. This workshop was not designed to go over any topic in extreme detail, but more as a "sampler" of topics. The expectation is for students to be able to leave and be familiar with several of the Excel skills necessary for most positions that require some "basic to intermediate" Excel knowledge.
Agenda (Not necessarily taught in the order below):

• Filtering, Sorting, Formatting
• Removing Duplicates
• Hiding and Grouping Data
• Conditional Formatting
• Introduction to Formulas
• Basic Math Functions
• Charts and Graphs
• Accelerate the internalization of key time-saving shortcuts for navigation and editing.
• Work smarter and take advantage of the most helpful functions and features
• Enhance the presentation of your data by adding charts and formatting
Students should have a general familiarity with Excel, including knowing how to navigate a spreadsheet, and how to copy & paste. Please bring a laptop with Microsoft Excel installed (PC recommended, Mac acceptable) Most functions/features also work on a Mac although there may be minor differences. The instructor will be using a PC. It is also recommended that you bring a mouse. This is an interactive class, and your participation and questions are encouraged.

Entertainment Group and a leading digital marketing agency, where he enabled digital marketing teams to improve their CRM and email marketing programs through data-driven segmentation and customer focused analyses. His specialties include manipulating and extracting data for analysis via SQL, visualizing data using Tableau, and statistical analysis in R. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, Riverside and an MBA with a focus in Decision Sciences & Marketing from the Graziadio School of Business & Management at Pepperdine University.
