Alice Thwaite
Founder & Technology Ethicist
When you design or engineer a product, you believe that it will have a positive impact on your target market. But do you have the resources to think about how your technologies might affect society as a whole? This evening workshop will introduce you to the basics of ethical thinking and will help you implement ethics in your working day.
What students have said about this class:
"Great first real dive into the topic for me. I feel there are lots of ideas to take away to use discussion starters with colleagues. Enjoyed the space to be able to think about this - thanks for running this class."
"Reflecting on the experience, given the amount of time we had, in 2 hours (and remotely to add!) Alice managed to walk us through all the essential steps of designing ethics in our organisations - with something tangible to show from the end of it. In that sense it was very practical and provided a 'shortcut' into the domain. Exactly what I was looking for, thank you!"
