About This Workshop

Email is one of the highest performing digital marketing channels, requiring its own unique set of content, marketing, and design considerations. However, with the tens of hundreds of emails people receive every day, you must learn how to distinguish your email from the rest. In this session, you’ll learn how to develop and drive email strategy, best practices and principles for getting users to take action, simple strategies and A/B tests to maximize conversions, and what to measure and track.

The well-being of our employees, students, clients, instructors, and guests is our number one priority here at General Assembly. We are monitoring COVID-19 very carefully and are adjusting delivery of our programs.


Due to the current health concerns, all GA short-form events, workshops & bootcamps will temporarily be held online - including this one.


Registered participants will be notified 24 hours in advance of this program with information on how to log in to the Zoom Meeting Room and other tools you’ll need for the session. Registration for this offering will close 2 hours prior to the session start in order to allow all students ample opportunity to have the technology enabled.


General Assembly’s classes, workshops and events are recreational and for avocational purposes only. No certificate is awarded.

Preparation

  • You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
  • This course will occur completely online using Zoom and Slack.
  • Course set up information will be emailed to all students signed up around 24 hours before (and again an hour before) your course launches.
  • Each individual course participant must have purchased a ticket

Jose Cervantes is a digital marketing and web development professional with a decade of experience helping corporations, small businesses and individuals operate and succeed in online business. Jose has worked for corporations such as Herbalife Nutrition and FOX Networks Group, and is currently employed by OceanX.

Jose has been teaching since 2015 in the areas of digital marketing, coding and web development. In his spare time, he also enjoys helping businesses and individuals create and market their online business through his consulting business.

Jose loves writing, learning, sports, and exploring the outdoors whenever possible.
