About this event

Ready for some travel inspiration? Join for a free, private screening of the award-winning documentary: "2.5% - The Osa Peninsula" and learn how it led the filmmakers to launch LA-based social enterprise Lokal (www.lokaltravel.com).

The film explores the impact of tourism on local communities and the fragile environment of Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula - 'the most biologically intense place on Earth.' Following the screening, Lokal co-founder Dave Koken will share how they are now using technology to help locals featured in the film (and communities around the world) to share their stories and offer global travelers a new kind of sustainable adventure.
