About This Workshop

Have you heard about the importance of digital marketing skills but don’t know how to get started? Are you running digital marketing campaigns but want to learn how other digital marketers plan and execute measurable strategies?

In this hands-on bootcamp, you’ll gain an overview of key concepts, learning new ways to promote your business and connect with customers as a digital marketer. Discover how to build and execute a digital marketing strategy through digital channels like social media, search engine optimization, and email marketing.

This digital marketing bootcamp provides a concise introduction to our evening and 1-week Digital Marketing courses, which dives further into paid advertising, marketing analytics, content marketing, and more.

General Assembly’s classes, workshops & events are for recreational purposes and are not regulated by the bureau of proprietary school supervision.

If this class is recorded, students will be sent the recording link within 7 days after class completion by email. Students are encouraged to download and save any shared materials (worksheets, deck if applicable) during class for later reference as they are not be shared by email.

Preparation

If you already have Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and/or LinkedIn Campaign Manager set up for your business, please be sure to bring your login information. If not, we will set you up during the digital marketing bootcamp.

  • You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
  • This class will occur completely online using Zoom.
  • Class setup information will be emailed to all students signed up around 24 hours before (and again an hour before) your class launches.
  • Each individual class participant must have purchased a ticket

About the Instructor

Rachel is a resident of Austin, TX where she has built her career at tech companies of various sizes and stages, applying her strong aptitude for analytics and process to help implement data-driven solutions to complex business problems. Rachel has taken on many roles throughout her career, from engineering to marketing to operations, each enabling her to further explore her curiosity and passion for data and technology. She holds an MS in Environmental Engineering and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

In her spare time, you will find Rachel attending or performing at an improv show at one of the many great theaters in town, or enjoying time out with friends and her dogs on an outdoor patio.

In recognition of her exemplary service in the classroom as both a Digital Marketing and Data Analytics Instructor, Rachel was selected as a member of General Assembly's Distinguished Faculty program. Rachel has been with General Assembly since 2016.
