About This Workshop

Very few of us graduate from school with a clear idea of what we want our careers to look like. Even when we think we know what we want, there are all sorts of obstacles to landing the right job. And worst of all, when we’ve finally gotten that job that we think will make us happy, it doesn’t. This leads to dissatisfaction and under-performance…and the process begins again.

A Gallup study found that nearly 70% of people feel disengaged by their work. In other words, they work because they have to, not because they want to. If that sounds like you, then join us for this solution-oriented workshop. We will help you to discover what matters most when it comes to finding inspiring work. We’ll then teach you a clear and compelling approach to find, and get, a job you love faster. It won’t happen all at once, of workshop, but this workshop can jumpstart your journey towards finding joy and meaning in your work.

Christa Davis is a leadership & executive coach, and is the owner of Christa Davis Coaching. She coaches women professionals to gain the clarity, motivation, and confidence to love their jobs or leave them. Christa has worked with clients across the world, helping them quit unfulfilling jobs, recover from burnout, and step into their dream, whether launching their own business, landing the perfect corporate role, or taking the right actions to love their current job.

In addition to coaching, Christa is the founder of ‘Women Leaders: Love Your Job or Leave It”, a group which offers monthly coaching events and workshops for women professionals in the DC area. She is passionate about sharing her expertise with women in the community, and has facilitated programming for Lean In DC, Junior League, Congressional Women’s Staff Association, Women’s Information Network, among other organizations that serve women. She is also a member of the Steering Committee for the Washington Network Group’s Women’s Leadership Forum.

Prior to launching her business, Christa worked in the nonprofit industry in fundraising and communications. Christa received her coach training through the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), and is a certified professional coach recognized by the International Coach Federation. She holds a B.A. in International Affairs and a M.A. in Organizational Leadership & Learning, both from the George Washington University.
