About This Workshop

Very few of us graduate from school with a clear idea of what we want our careers to look like. Even when we think we know what we want, there are all sorts of obstacles to landing the right job. And worst of all, when we’ve finally gotten that job that we think will make us happy, it doesn’t. This leads to dissatisfaction and under-performance…and the process begins again.

In a recent study from Gallup, nearly 70% of men and women feel “disengaged” by their work – in other words, they work because they have to, not because they want to. If that sounds like you, then join us for this solution-oriented workshop. We will help you to discover what matters most when it comes to finding inspiring work. We’ll then teach you a clear and compelling approach to find, and get, a job you love faster. It won’t happen all at once, of course, but this workshop can jumpstart your journey towards finding joy and meaning in your work.

What do students have to say about this workshop?
"It was substantially better than I'd imagined it would be! That's because I learned so much that I didn't know. It was helpful from the first moment and I put much of it to use immediately. Ben is an incredible teacher with an amazing grasp on this subject." – Jeanne

About the Instructor

Ben Sands Photo

Executive Coach + Founder,
Sands Leadership

Ben Sands is an "executive coach," but hates that title. He’s a "professional speaker" too, but cringes at the term.
Most accurately, Ben's a life-long learner, obsessed with helping the most talented men and women in the world improve in their ability to make great decisions and become leaders with lasting impact.
His Big, Hairy, Audacious, Goal? A world in which more men and women wake up, every day, energized and excited by the work they do and the life they live.
In other words, he wants to create a world full of more, healthy, engaged, high-performing companies, families and communities.
So far, so good?
Ben has worked with the rising leaders at a bunch of big companies – Morgan Stanley, Disney, Microsoft and Duke University, among others — and a bunch of small ones, too.
The common denominator among these organizations: they are all led by men and women who believe that their company can make the world a better place and recognize the importance of leadership development in making that happen.
Before he got into coaching, Ben spent a decade as a management consultant — helping companies, large and small, set strategy, cut costs and improve performance. He loved it and that work became the foundation for what he does today.
