About This Workshop

*Please note this class will be at 1776 in Crystal City - 2231 Crystal Dr #1000, Arlington, VA 22202

Very few of us graduate from school with a clear idea of what we want our careers to look like. Even when we think we know what we want, there are all sorts of obstacles to landing the right job. And worst of all, when we’ve finally gotten that job that we think will make us happy, it doesn’t. This leads to dissatisfaction. A recent Gallup poll has found that only 13% of workers feel engaged by their jobs!

If you’re one of those 87% of people who aren’t fully happy at work, this workshop is for you. We will teach you how to reflect on what’s truly important to you when it comes to your career, and techniques for getting the job you want faster. It won’t happen all at once, but we believe this workshop can jumpstart your journey towards finding joy and meaning in your work.

Takeaways

  • Establish a framework for your career transition
  • Identify daily practices to start right away to drive success in your career transition
  • Create an action plan for your career transition with a draft vision statement to guide efforts moving forward
  • Understand how your career will contribute to your overall life happiness
