About This Workshop Series


This workshop will be hosted online (Livestream) due to safety considerations, please check out the "Preparation" section on the bottom of this page. Registered participants will be notified in advance of this program with information on how to log in to the workshop.

Data visualisations are a critical business tool. Students will learn how powerful a tool like Tableau can be to showcase data in a visually insightful manner.

Students will sign up for a free trial of Tableau Desktop and be given a large data set for hands-on training throughout the bootcamp. Together, we'll walk through the analytics workflow with a real world case study, using Tableau to build a dashboard to tell an insightful story.

Preparation

  • Student must have Tableau pre-installed. A free trial is available from http://www.tableau.com
  • This class is taken completely online via Zoom and Slack.
  • You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
  • Course set up information will be emailed to all students signed up around 24 hours before (and again an hour before) the course launches.
