About this class series

Design Thinking is one of the next big competitive advantages in business, government, and the social sector. Learn about the design thinking process, service design techniques, and customer empathy tools to innovate and/or solve complex problems.

There are many elements to human-centered design, including Design Thinking (the core methodology), Service Design (a variation that’s used in service settings), and Customer Journey Mapping (one of the key empathy-building methodologies). This rapidly-growing process of design is used in various forms by companies around the world, from large corporations, to social enterprises, to nonprofits, in creating value for their customers and organizations.

Taught by service designer and design thinking ambassador, Marina Terteryan, classes will include real-world case studies and applications from around the world. Each class in this series will include stand-alone instruction and a hands-on workshop to apply your learnings. You will leave with actionable insights on adopting these methods for any project or business.
