In increasingly complex times, innovation and collaboration skills are becoming vital to businesses, and both principles are essential in Design Thinking. This hands-on workshop will lead you through the design thinking process, taught by design thinking professionals that live and breathe in this space. Together we'll explore how human-centered design can help develop innovative solutions for the complex challenges we face as businesspeople, non-profit leaders, entrepreneurs, and global citizens.

Steph is a human-centred design practitioner and coach delivering value-driven projects in strategic, service and experience design. As a General Assembly instructor, she draws on deep knowledge and experience in human behaviour and psychology, digital and organisational transformation, change implementation, and end-to-end project management.
A certified agile ScrumMaster with a combined background in internet science and sociology, Steph's experience includes: leading the Customer Experience Improvement Strategies for both the Cities of Boroondara and Port Phillip in Melbourne; the redesign of the Australian Department of Finance's staff intranet; delivering design thinking bootcamps for Singaporean government ministries; and conducting user research projects for New Zealand Customs and the City of Auckland.
Currently driving world-class research and design capability at human-centred technology consultancy Mantel Group, Steph is passionate about bringing coaching practice and design thinking together to deliver high-quality human experiences and build capability in others. She loves connecting technical and non-technical tribes, getting diverse humans working together, evangelising HCD and UX mindsets, coffee and talking (of course).
