Two dynamic veteran art and product design professionals come together to provide a deep, honest, and actionable critique of your creative work: including aesthetics, visual design, design communication, semiotics/meaning, user experience, task hierarchy, interaction and interface design, and design strategy.
Not only will you receive world-class professional insight, but you will also learn and practice essential hands-on skills to help you innovate, iterate, and collaborate more effectively with other members of your creative and technical team when you leave the classroom.
Students can bring one project/deliverable for critique. Examples of work include (but not limited to): - App prototype - Pitch deck - Marketing campaign - Design portfolio or case study (visual design or art, product design, photography etc)
Project criteria: - Quantity of work: one project or deliverable, which you are able to present for critique in 5 minutes or under - You must have done the work yourself - Work must be either accessible on the web, brought in a Keynote or PowerPoint deck, or on a USB drive that can run off the instructor’s MacBook.
