Are you new to video making or do you want to learn some new creative production tips? This introductory video class looks at essential video equipment as well as more advanced concepts. You will receive expert advice on techniques that can be applied to existing or future video projects.
Online video is a must have for marketing. This class is ideal for any brands or businesses who want to improved their video production on a budget. Below are the key elements that will be covered.
Please note that this is a beginner class, however, some intermediate concepts will be covered which will appeal to existing video makers. Some experience creating video on a smart phone/iPhone, camcorder or DSLR is a bonus, but not necessary.
General Assembly’s classes, workshops & events are for recreational purposes and are not regulated by the bureau of proprietary school supervision. If this class is recorded, students will be sent the recording link within 7 days after class completion by email. Students are encouraged to download and save any shared materials (worksheets, deck if applicable) during class for later reference as they are not be shared by email.

Nigel has filmed throughout the UK and countries including Kenya, Botswana, Mexico, Jamaica, Spain and Croatia. Prior to working in the film sector, Nigel worked for 10 years in the telecommunications software industry managing software product roadmaps.
