A clear design concept is a useful tool when navigating between expression, aesthetics and purpose when developing a brand identity.
Students will receive an overview of the overall process of a branding project, from naming tips to brand design guidelines, and their respective applications (print and digital). We will look into methodology with which to investigate and develop a variety of concepts.
Students will learn what the needed design elements within a brand identity are, and how to implement them, resulting in a longer lifespan in today’s constant need for new content and design. We will review overarching questions and checklists one can lean on while developing concepts and exploring different design directions.
