Dr. Drwencke advises businesses all over San Francisco about how to care for their bodies while at work at play. Today she will be going over how important our posture and movement are when we are in an office setting, including best practices to help avoid stress and pain related injuries while at work, and ensure that our efforts instead be fully translated into creative connections in our passions and businesses.
12:30PM-1PM Creating personal work rituals with Kiki Federico
Kiki Federico helps women remember who they are truly called to be as evolving women and emerging leaders. In this workshop she will be guiding you to develop a personal ritual to feel more grounded and connected to your work and invite more beauty, pleasure, and meaning into your daily grind.
3:30-4PM Working Movements with Liz Tenuto
Working movements specifies and simplifies the art of sitting and looking at a screen for extended periods of time with the aim of teaching individuals how to understand their postural habits and understand how to work with the most physical ease and confidence possible.
5:30PM Closing
In addition to the workshops above, we'll be leading exercises to help you connect with other co-working day participants and offering a supportive community to help you with whatever you're working on. You are welcome to join for all or any part of the day.
About the Speakers
Dr. Krystal Drwencke is a chiropractor at San Francisco Spine Pain Relief Center. Originally from Detroit, MI, she has worked in clinics in Atlanta, Shivpuri, India, and Birmingham, AL before making her way to San Francisco. She specializes in movement-driven care for sports and sedentary injuries, and most of all, keeping people doing what they love most.
Kiki Federico is a Women's Leadership + Lifestyle Coach. her mission is to liberate professional women to live and lead authentically, soulfully, and in a community of sisterhood. She believes that women have the most critical role to play in shaping our future, and that liberated women are the leaders of the future. But we must come together, celebrate what makes us women, and change what's not working for us. After years of sacrificing herself, her health, and her femininity to get ahead, Kiki now helps ambitious women who are seeking a more balanced life, meaningful relationships, and fulfilling careers. She guides them to access their innate creativity and grow the confidence to express their ideas and become embodied, inspiring leaders.
Liz Tenuto is an award winning choreographer and movement instructor whose mission is to inspire people to connect to their bodies and hearts. She recently launched a movement wellness workshop, Working Movements, which teaches professionals how to be embodied in the workplace. The workshop specifies and simplifies the art of sitting and looking at a screen for extended periods of time with the aim of teaching individuals how to understand their postural habits and self-correct. The material is individually empowering and taught in a light-hearted way in an effort to increase awareness, confidence, and physical ease. Liz is passionate about teaching women the power of loving their bodies.
