About This Event

  • Feeling bored, stuck in a rut with your work or harbouring a secret dream to do something else? *

** The first step to a successful career change is identifying what ignites passion, purpose, and satisfaction in your career and in you.**

If you don’t have answers right away, you’re not alone. We often don’t have the time, tools, or guidance to find a clear answer. Finding work that really matters requires — well — work. Join Clementine and General Assembly for a discussion to help you take actionable steps towards a fulfilling career.

In our exclusive, empowering session, Kim Palmer the founder of Clementine, and Katie Lee the CEO of Clementine will share their stories from how they made a career pivot away from the world of marketing communications to building the UK's leading hypnotherapy app for women.

They'll share how they are leading in a new way - with egos at the door.

Founder, Clementine

FemTech innovator and entrepreneur Kim Palmer is the CEO and Founder of the hypnotherapy app Clementine, which aims to improve the emotional wellbeing of women all over the world. Born after Kim experienced a number of panic attacks whilst pregnant, Clementine has been created to make women feel calmer, more confident, and better equipped to cope with everyday life.

The hypnotherapy sessions available on the Clementine app can be used to boost confidence or help you return to sleep by guiding you to relaxed state, similar to daydreaming, and suggests new ways to deal with everyday grievances; allowing you to kick back and continue your daily routine.

Kim is listed as one of the top 100 women in Fem Tech & Health Tech and winner of the IPA Campaign Women of Tomorrow in 2018, which recognises female industry leaders of the future.

Whilst working at Wunderman Thompson as a strategy director, Kim also helped some of the world’s biggest brands with their global marketing campaigns and was able to develop her personal resilience and kick-start a women’s mentoring programme.

About Our Partners

Clementine is a new hypnotherapy app, created by women for women. With anxiety at an all-time high and uncertainty everywhere thanks to our ‘new normal’, Clementine is a moment of calm in women’s days. The app, which was selected by the Guardian as one of ‘seven apps which every woman should own’ tackles anxiety, imposter syndrome, body confidence, and helps women sleep better.

Daily mantras, bite-size hypnotherapy sessions, and longer confidence courses are designed to tackle a range of the issues faced by women of all ages. Clementine guides its users into a relaxed state using cognitive hypnotherapy and coaching - not meditation- to overcome daily grievances. The app offers a mix of proven science, wellness, and sweary reality, talking to its users like adults, and treating them like friends.
