But although there are plenty of opportunities in the startup scene, breaking in can be tricky, especially if you have a non-technical skillset. Keith has spent the last 15 years helping grow Boston’s vibrant technology and startup communities. In 2002, Keith founded Dissero, a progressive recruiting firm focused on early to mid-stage venture-backed technology companies. In 2009, Keith launched VentureFizz to tell the stories of Boston’s entrepreneurs and fast-growing organizations, and help people make connections and find career inspiration through the VentureFizz Job Board, BIZZpages, and Networking Calendar. Keith has contributed to leading publications on topics related to entrepreneurship and recruiting, including Forbes, Inc., Fox Business News, The Boston Globe, Xconomy and Boston Business Journal.
Netta Dobbins is a values-driven entrepreneur, whose work equips Black professionals with the support they need to persevere as they, too, pursue their passions. Prior to founding Mimconnect, Netta moved to New York and launched a successful career in entertainment PR, where she secured press for clients including Clive Davis, PBS, Sony Legacy Artists, Airbnb, and Marvel. She then transitioned to advertising as a strategist with leading cultural marketing agency Translation. She also created their first Diversity & Inclusion program and crafted fully immersive campaigns that extended from the digital space to physical activations in order to introduce new products, increase audience engagement, and build brand alignment.
Netta is a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated and holds a Bachelors of Science in Communications from Middle Tennessee State University. When she’s not building safe spaces for POC to connect and grow, you can find Netta reading a good book, being her authentic self at public speaking engagements, and enjoying oat milk matcha lattes.

Maggie Duvall is the Head of Technical Recruiting at Better.com, which is a digital homeownership startup that has 4xed it's employee base in 2020, with goals of making home buying more affordable, understandable and accessible for all. Before joining Better.com in July 2020, she led operations and engineering recruiting at Uber, where she contributed to the company's growth from 4,000-25,000 employees in just five years. She's passionate about advising hiring managers and recruiting teams on how to set up scalable and fair processes to set a foundation for solid company growth.

Prior to co-founding Octave, Sandeep Acharya led strategy at One Medical for 5 years. In this role, he was responsible for launching & scaling several new services and oversaw the growth of its employer business to over 1,000 companies, while being a member of a senior leadership team that expanded the company to over sixty clinics in eight cities. Before One Medical, he spent his career as an investor, operator and consultant in the healthcare, retail, and technology sectors at Bain & Co, Bain Capital & Insight Venture Partners. Sandeep holds degrees in computer science & business from Wharton and Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
Though Sandeep has fled the East Coast for San Francisco, he remains an avid (if suffering) New York Giants fan.
