Part 1: Getting Started
Starting a business is more than just having passion. You have to make sure you understand the legal ins and outs of running a business, and are setting yourself up for financial success. We'll:
- Break down different business designations and what you need to do to register in TX
- Talk about legal and financial obligations to yourself AND your budget
- Discuss the basics of accounting, including key terminology, tools and resources
- Learn the difference between a balance sheet, a P&L and a cash flow statement

Part 2: Make Money
The difference between a hobby and a business is PROFIT! How are you making money? And are you making enough? Let’s talk all things cash-money in your business! We'll:
- Create a basic business budget template
- Talk through price points to reach PROFITABILITY
- Create additional streams of revenue for your business to protect yourself from slumps
