About this workshop

Product management is 20% technical and 80% personal. Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are critical for product management since most of the time your ideas and products will be implemented by other people.

In this class we will introduce you to the key product management concepts, best practices that support frequent, reliable product delivery in an agile environment. Learn how to analyse the market, flesh out your ideas, identify risks, and validate assumptions. We’ll also touch on the post-launch process of tracking performance, prioritising development of new features, and managing stakeholders.

Takeaways

  • How to handle difficult situations, influence others, develop credibility, solve problems and implement plans.
  • The importance of iterative and incremental development in bringing a product to market
  • How taking a disciplined approach enables us to be flexible and adapt to change
