About This Event

Kick off your hump day morning with a fun, interactive workshop at General Assembly. Breakfast Bytes is a new morning series with short, 1-hour discussions and practical workshops to get your noggin noodling before the work day. This session: Come along for some morning yoga!

Yoga and Mindfulness to Brighten Your Day:

This class is open to all yogis, from complete beginner to advanced. When we spend all week sitting at a desk, we use the same movements over and over, creating an imbalance that causes pain and discomfort in the body. In this one hour class, we'll counter these habitual movement patterns to bring ourselves back into balance.

We will integrate breath work with movement that will help focus the mind, open the body, and build strength in areas that need it most. This practice will ease stress, calm a busy mind, and bring lightness to the entire body. Get the blood flowing to some good tunes and take a break from the screen before getting your day started!

Please Note: This session is BYOM (Bring Your Own Mat)

Charlotte Messervy is a GA Career Coach during business hours and a yoga and meditation teacher in her free time. With an empathetic approach, she helps others thrive in and out of the office.

Having worked in a range of organisations from corporate to startup, Charlotte is able to draw from a variety of professional experience. In addition, Charlotte traveled around the world solo in 2014, during which she learned about the power of courage, mindfulness, and self-awareness. Ultimately, she decided to marry her business acumen to her love of personal development - enter career coaching. Through her time at GA, Charlotte has worked with close to one hundred people, to help them find clarity and confidence in their own job searches.

Charlotte’s approach is mindful yet practical, with an emphasis on clear communication and personal accountability. Please join her workshops relating to career navigation and finding fulfilment, or get in touch to learn about her upcoming classes and retreats.
