About this workshop

Innovators comes in all shapes and sizes: Startups, for-profit and non-profit organizations, entrepreneurs, and product managers all need to be innovative in order to survive. In this workshop, students will learn innovative branding concepts and methodologies, develop brand promise statements, compose tagline options, sketch logo drafts, and work on flash pitches to present to peers in the class. Instructor feedback will be provided during the various hands-on activities and the class will culminate with presentations of ideas-turned-brands. At the end of the day, students will have the essential elements of their brands ready for the next steps of bringing those ideas to market.

Takeaways

Learn how to execute branding essentials (how-to’s of name, color, font, tagline, etc.)

Find out how to create and keep your brand promise (based on takeaways from Simon Sinek’s book, “Start with Why”)

Be able to use the flash pitch to present your brand instantly (for sales and networking opportunities as well as internal team situations).

Learn how to think and act as an entrepreneur.
